Ingredients

  • Portabello mushrooms
  • 2 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tblsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper
  • NEED
  • Light flavoured woodchips like beech or apple

Description

Smoky, buttery Portabello mushrooms. A wonderful accompaniment to any meat dish.

Directions

  • 1. Preheat the gas smoker to LOW: 105-135°C (220-275°F).
  • 2. Clean the mushrooms, remove the stem and scrape out the black gills with a spoon.
  • 3. Gently melt the butter and stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
  • 4. Coat the mushrooms with the butter mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  • 5. Place inside the gas smoker for approximately 45 minutes.
