Description

Smoked apple can be served as a delicious sweet or turned into a versatile smoky apple sauce.

Directions

  • 1. Preheat the gas smoker to LOW: 105-135°C (220-275°F).
  • 2. Cut the apples into quarters or slices and remove the core and pips.
  • 3. Place inside the smoker and smoke for 20 minutes.
  • 4. Blend to make apple sauce or serve in chunks to accompany roast pork. Alternatively, use in an apple pie, yum!
