Ingredients

  • 40 large jalapeno peppers, whole
  • 250g cream cheese, brought to room temperature
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar, Parmesan or Mozzarella
  • 1-1½ tsp BBQ Rub
  • 2 tblsp sour cream
  • Sausage mince

Description

This is simply a man-sized version of the Jalapeno Poppers recipe.

Directions

  • 1. Refer the Jalapeno Popper recipe and follow each step(excluding bacon)
  • 2. Cover the each Jalapeno with sausage mince.
  • 3. Dust the sausage meat encased popper with some BBQ rub.
  • 4. Smoke cook jalapenos for 1-2 hours at a HIGH: 160-180°C in your gas smoker.
